As I write this, I’ve just e-mailed Chadd and Nikki with the first draft of our play.

The play, which I teased on Facebook and Instagram with the picture on your left a couple of weeks back, is one of several projects I’ve and we’ve been working on over the last several weeks. There’s still plenty of work to be done on all of them, of course. But I’m really very excited about where we are, and where we’re headed.

There’s the play, along with several other projects PDP has on the slate. There’s Nikki‘s work at Monarch Academy, where she teaches Creative Arts (this includes a fantastic event that happened just this past weekend, which I’ll be writing about as soon as I’ve gone through all the pics). There are roles and gigs and speaking engagements. And there’s the proverbial more.

It’s been incredibly challenging, a learning experience of the highest order. It’s truly tested me as a writer. And most of all, it’s been a lot of fun.

I’ll acknowledge that all the busy has kept me away from the blog for a little while longer than I’d anticipated. And I apologize for that. But I’ll try to do better the rest of this year.

Because there’s a lot going on. A lot to look forward to. And while I can’t give you all the details right now, I feel pretty confident that when I can, it’ll be worth the wait.
